Jillian Jane

The creation of life has to be the most awe striking thing. 1 minute there is a pregnant lady, then next (well after a lot of pushing) there is a baby... a new living being.

Today my sister-in-law gave birth to Jillian Jane Murdock, 6.8 lbs & 19-3/4 in. Here is a picture of her and her papa.

It was so amazing to meet her today! She was beautiful even a pretty baby, and we all not all babies are cute... with parents like hers, no one is surprised. I can't wait to spoil her!

Super Easy - Super Cute Paper Medallions!

MORE DECOR! I am finally getting around to making my paper medallions. I am really loving them. I have made a few with plain colored paper, and some with pattern. I love the depth the patterned paper adds. And I think a mixture of sizes is a must!

For an extra touch, and to cover some of my sloppy gluing, I added some felt circles.
These look amazing with my yummy felt flowers... I am starting to see my vision come to life! It's so inspiring. *

Miss Jillian Jane will be joining us tomorrow! I am so stinking excited I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight. I have a whole box of paper, glue, scissors, felt, etc. all by the door ready to hang out at the hospital with me. I promise pics of the new angel tomorrow! Good luck to Momma Cortny!

Hello Friend!

I just finished dinner with my favorite florist and one of my dearest friends. A most amazing connection in Meg's and my business endeavour. Check out her fabulous work, and see why I love her for more than her charming personality...

Hello Fresh:

52 days and counting...

AHHHHHH...I actually should be freaking out more than I am, as I have gotten barely anything done, and our wedding is 52 short days away, but OH WELL! It will come together, or not, and that is okay with me. This day is all about us and our love (cheesy huh?) and the fact that all we want is to share our happiness with the people we care for most in this world.
Please drool over these adorable pictures as I am, and get some creative inspiration whether you are wedding planning or not.

In the VERY near future Moo (or known to all of you as Erin) and myself will be focusing our efforts on making this little blog of ours a business and a life-long dream come true. Please stay tuned as our ideas become reality, and in the mean time, obsess over these images with me:)!

No Bones About It

I love this little gal. For the past 8 years she has been hiding from the camera, which makes her mother very angry. Well... I got the new Ipod touch for Christmas and Ms. Corona doesn't know it's a camera yet. So, I thought while I had the opportunity I would share this photo with you... it is one of very few.

Have a great Tuesday all!!!!

I love you... TOM

It's like when midnight struck on January 1st a wedding alarm went off inside me.. WAKE UP!!! YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED THIS YEAR! So I have been pretty productive as of late.

My new latest revelation... TOMS! I think I just might have to jump on board with the whole TOMS wedding.

They have the cutest new cream glitters for me.
And for my love... the black waxed twill cordones.
And how cute would our little ring bearer and flower girl be in these?!

I know Toms aren't the most glamorous shoes in the world... but they are comfortable and I can only imagine how important that is on a day when you are bouncing around and dancing and chatting with all your guests.

Check out all of the TOMS @ http://www.toms.com

Flower Power

The rain has cleared... flowers may not be blooming in my yard. Mostly because we didn't cover all of our plants and we managed to let quite a few die... oops. Do not fret, the garden is just fine! But at least we will have something to do this spring!

Flowers are blooming indoors though!!!

I found inspiration for holiday decorations in Better Home & Gardens magazine... and decided it was much better suited at my wedding! I am going to try the paper medallions next!

I have turned my coffee table into a felt flower garden!

I plan making approximately 100 of these guys. Think Anthropology, gobs and gobs of these on a stretch of garland, or plastered on a wall... Wish me luck!!
