Domino... I found you!

Okay, so I was, and still am, completely obsessed with Domino magazine. Much to my chagrin my beloved went away. I still have all of my old issues of my magazines, as well as the Domino design book. But I have been longing for more... Well I just uncovered it! Flickr has all the photos there!

Unfortunately, I can't copy all of pics because Flickr doesn't like to share. So click on this link to find them all!!

Enjoy!

Frazzled

We are at the 32 day mark in the wedding countdown....I am still unprepared, but getting closer to our final outcome. Erin and I drooled over a wedding mag at lunch today, and I realized that our amazing day is so close, I can't believe it!

I have made myself about 30 checklists that are laying all over my house and car, and if I remember half of what I wanted to it will be a shock.

My darling fiance is about as patient as a saint to put up with my non-stop wedding projects, and endless tasks that have taken over our entire home. I promise it will all be gone very soon:)!

Today I created a silhouette image I have had in my mind for months, and I am so excited with the finished product....

I promise that one day soon all of my wedding talk will be over, and I will start broadening my horizons in the lifestyle blog world....However, Erin has 10 months to go, so I make no guarantees for her:)

Ciao for now,
M.E.

Treasure hunt finds on ETSY!

Check out my ETSY finds... and get them for yourself!

I love these sliced tree trunks! I want them everywhere at my wedding. Chalkboards, pie stands, engraved trivets, YES PLEASE!

And how perfect are these DIY flowers. I love that the artist is kind enough to know that we can make these ourselves, but happily makes that easier for us. You just buy the instructions!

Super cute hair pieces!

How perfect are these on a pie?

One of my favorite things about ETSY is that these are actual artists you are dealing with, so if something is not exactly how you want it... I am sure small tweaks and alterations are possible! You can personalize your accessories to fit your wedding style.

I am so amazed with the work she does....simply breathtaking, and the vintage details make them even more amazing....say goodbye to a fresh floral boutonniere, and enjoy something that will last a lifetime!

38 days and counting......we are almost there!!!

Yikes Stripes... grey striped straws!

What is better than accessories? Maybe cocktails... but how great are accessories for your cocktails?!?!

Check out these paper striped straws I ordered from a little place called Modern Lola.

They are paper straws, so I had to test them out in a little blueberry press to see if they would actually work. I was nervous they would get soggy. We are all in luck, one cocktail gone & no soggy straw!

$3 for 50ea... they were a wedding bar must!

Jillian Jane

The creation of life has to be the most awe striking thing. 1 minute there is a pregnant lady, then next (well after a lot of pushing) there is a baby... a new living being.

Today my sister-in-law gave birth to Jillian Jane Murdock, 6.8 lbs & 19-3/4 in. Here is a picture of her and her papa.

It was so amazing to meet her today! She was beautiful even a pretty baby, and we all not all babies are cute... with parents like hers, no one is surprised. I can't wait to spoil her!

Super Easy - Super Cute Paper Medallions!

MORE DECOR! I am finally getting around to making my paper medallions. I am really loving them. I have made a few with plain colored paper, and some with pattern. I love the depth the patterned paper adds. And I think a mixture of sizes is a must!

For an extra touch, and to cover some of my sloppy gluing, I added some felt circles.
These look amazing with my yummy felt flowers... I am starting to see my vision come to life! It's so inspiring. *

Miss Jillian Jane will be joining us tomorrow! I am so stinking excited I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight. I have a whole box of paper, glue, scissors, felt, etc. all by the door ready to hang out at the hospital with me. I promise pics of the new angel tomorrow! Good luck to Momma Cortny!
